Considering the legal and ethical issues concerning the construction of germplasm collections,
Elaboration of rules concerning the access rights,
Training and coaching on ethics and legal aspects,
Scouting on possible sources of international funding for the Consortium,
Analyzing the economic and political institutions determining the performance of the olive sector in the regions involved in the project.

Deliverables & Milestones

• D.4.1.1 Guidelines on the legal and ethical management of the germplasm databanks first release (M24);
• D.4.1.2. Guidelines on the legal and ethical management of the germplasm databanks second release (M48)
• D.4.2.1. Workshops and seminars (to be held at UNIPG,UFRO,UABC, INRA in correspondence of the legal research unit secondments)
• D.4.2.2. Opinions and advises (according to the Consortium needs)
• D.4.3. Project to be submitted under national/international Funding Programs for the continuation of the network and “BeFOre” project; (three project in the whole period, taking in account the deadline provided under the various calls)
